Center Console Lid (12v socket) no longer springing

Not sure what Tesla service did, but they manage to break the center console lid as it is no longer springing to open or close. I have to push it open or close and it seems to stay that way. Am I correct in saying they might have broke one of the gear or spring clip? Does anyone know what the inside looks like?

Make sure you don't have items stuck on the cover from the bottom. I somehow had a straw stuck from underneath, and the cover was hard to open, till I stick my hand underneath the tunnel from the cup holder side. There could be stuff stuck between the bottom edge of the cover when it touches the bottom. At least in my experience.

I ended up tinkering with it and found the side pieces weren’t snapped on properly. Now it works properly, freaking tesla service.....
