Ceramic Pro Raincoat: OK on windshield?

I got a quote for ceramic coating, and they say they also apply "one layer of Ceramic Pro Rain on the windshield."
Is it okay to do that, or is there a risk of cracking the windshield or causing electrical problems (like with the tinting)?

It is fine. The issue with the tint is that it goes on the inside of the car and takes a lot of water to activate the adhesive and get it laid down. That causes the water to sometimes leak down into the dash and hurt the electronics. The ceramic goes on the outside so there is no risk of it leaking into the dash.
