Charge rate cut by 1/2 on 4 different charges

This started last week with a charger at my work. It's a level 2 charger and will start charging at 32 amps then a short time later drops to 12 amps. Tried a different charger at work with same results. Now my lever 2 charger a home is doing the same think. I tried my 120v mobile charger and it starts at 12 amps then drops to 6.
Would this be covered under the battery charging system? Car has 96k miles.

Maybe one or your car's onboard chargers is going on the fritz? If so, I don't think you're covered by warranty, but I could be wrong. The 100K/120K mile warranty is for the main battery and drive unit. The chargers are probably being covered by the basic vehicle warranty (4 years/50K miles).

I'd look for any sort of obstruction or debris in your charge port. Otherwise, time to put in a service request. They'll likely attempt to diagnose remotely by looking at logs from the car, so you may get an answer even before you have to pay for service.

sounds like a potential PCS issue.
