Charging an iPad-- none of the USB ports work

If the iPad is below 50% it requires more amps and may not be able to draw enough from the ports. It'd need at least 2.1 amps.

I think I saw somewhere where the fronts (depending on year) only provide like 1.8, enough to maintain a phone, but not enough for an iPad. Have you tried the rear ports?

Tried both front and rear, not the one in the glove box—not interested in dangling a cord through the door. Disappointing that so many USB ports on all kinds of things still don’t work after all these years of it being in use
