To all who charge at home your EV or Tesla. Living in NC we have Duke Energy and we charge our Model 3 at home and at our beach home also in NC. Duke has seasonal rates and during the warmer months May to November they have 2 rates that anyone can get--"peak" rates and "off peak rates. From 7 pm till 7 am the kw per hour (off peak) is lower and a good time to charge up. See if your local power company offers these types of rates-some companies do.The special meter was free as well as the installation. We do save money this way. Also, our beach home (NC coast) also has a EV/Tesla home charger and we rent. I.T. instant torque.
