Charging pad too small - Tesla, give me another half inch

Anyone else have this issue? I have a new galaxy S21 Ultra and brought it for a model 3 test drive.

Anyone got connections to make suggestions to Tesla? Unfortunately I do not use twitter or other social media.

Yeah, it's your case choice unfortunately. I had to swap to a slimmer case on my Note 20 Ultra.

Otterbox Defender case, unfortunately need a hefty case as my phone tends to get battered, work phone is an iPhone XR in otterbox also.

I did not try overly hard, think it will fit with a little force?

Try seating the front edge of the phone first?

It's your case. I just got a s21 ultra and tried 3 cases, the speck presidio2, the spigen thin fit and rugged. They all fit easily with about 1/2 to spare vertically, but you do have to put the top in first.

I was wondering if the Landscape mode would work?

If not, the charging pads underneath are quite standard, so may be it would be possible
to swap the version with two portrait mode with one providing two portrait mode and one lanscape mode.

There are plenty of the older Model 3 Jeda charging pad on e-Bay that could possibly used instead.
This might require a little bit of handy work but should not be difficult to do.
