Did you want what you have or what is ‘current’?

Over 50% of all S and X models in the sample on TeslaFi are still on the same version you have (including my X :D). See TeslaFi.com for a good list of who is on what, what versions of AP, what is rolling out now, etc.

2019.8.3 is the current one a lot of people are getting so you might expect that soon.

Yes you can request an update.
Will you get one? Maybe yes; maybe no.

The only real reason to do so is when TeslaFi shows your car model to be significantly behind the pack.

For example most S and X are still on 2018.50.6 whether you like that or not. :D

Last I checked it was about 50% as 2019.8.3 is rolling out. When that drops to 20% or something and you don’t have anything new then you mohjt want to have national support check to see if there is any reason your car could be rejecting/failing updates.
