^ so based on this, current prices, and this being Chicago it seems so-so. I'd call it on the high side BUT given current lack of skilled workforce, they can ask any price really. I know guys quoting 300-400% their 'normal' prices and actually get the job right away.

Sounds more like 1500-1700 job to me.

Thanks for the input and agreed I would've thought it be more around $1,500-$2,200 tops. I am going to bring in 2 more quotes to make sure nothing is out of the ordinary with this. Appreciate the perspective from you though! Going to also ask for a breakdown of how they got to $2,750
