Clacking from Steering Rack

2021 Model Y with 37,693 miles. A few months ago, I started getting a noise/feeling from the steering wheel. I assumed a bearing was going bad on the steering column. However, the noise is coming from the steering rack, around the driven gear (passenger side) of the rack. It sounds like steel balls dropping. I have never observed this on any other Tesla I have driven. I have attached a video with a transducer attached to the area from which the sound seems to originate. The video was taken with the tires off the ground and no load on the steering, or suspension.

I have taken it for service, but nobody would actually listen to the noise at the rack; they just turned the steering wheel with brakes applied, loading the suspension, and causing more noise than the rack makes, and called it "normal."
