Now that Tesla has just reduced color choices to just 5, and four of those are a $1500 to $2000 option,,,,,,,,,,
I am now revisiting putting a color wrap or maybe a Plastidip product on the whole car. Going basic black and eliminating $2000 (for a Tesla color option) will go a long way toward the cost of a wrap.
Here is my dilemma, I know that wrap material is not as thick as PPF, is not self-healing, and will not give as good protection for the original paint underneath but maybe a wrap is good enough if I can change color too. I would put ceramic coating over the top for ease of maintenance.
