I think this goes one of two ways. Either this lights a fire under him again to prove himself at Tesla, or it gives him the excuse to walk and do the AI work under his own private companies as he has threatened.

And guidance/Elon's vibe. With the stock market pulling so hard I don't think the FED will be in any rush to actually cut.

Getting a little OT, but having elevated but reasonable inflation is the easiest way to reduce US federal debt in real terms. Debt isn't technically in the FED's area of responsibility but that doesn't mean all that much.

From all I've seen a FED pivot signals economic weakness which usually causes a correction. This covid market hasn't exactly acted like a rational market though so... 🤷‍♂️

This extra feature alone makes up for the increased price vs what was suggested at launch. For me at least. I had hoped there would be some nice integration with PW/Gateways and V2H. Tesla gets a lot of credit but I'm not sure people really appreciate how well their ecosystem really works. If...

I was thinking of the political stuff. I do think the impact of those sales was not temporary. They caused a waterfall of selling and margin calls. That money moved from bulls to bears.

I don't make too many predictions because I don't like looking foolish down the road predicting the future is hard but a bit before Ron's comments I predicted that we will see a major OEM "give up" on EVs and turn to Tesla in a major way sometime in the next 2 years.

If its that bad then I won't be touching TSLA for quite some time, at least not being long. Hard to imagine they would whiff it that badly.

Before Q3 I had picked 2024 EOY as seeing 300+. Now I think that won't be until 2025 sometime. Thesis hasn't changed much but I've just pushed it out a bit.

There has to be a ton of stops at $200. If someone wants to play games I don't see them giving up just shy of that. Personally I think the fundamentals look as bad as any of the charts.

BP is now a customer of Tesla. Today BP announced a deal in which BP pulse, bp's EV charging business, will acquire ultra-fast charging hardware units from Tesla for $100 million

The SP has closed damn near exactly on max pain too many times for it to be a coincidence. I suppose it could be simple market dynamics but it's far too easy for the market makers to move money around to manipulate share prices.

That would be a reverse gamma squeeze I'd say, but not sure if there is a special name for it.
