I removed the "ASY IP SIDE COVER LEFT 1028357-00-A" (i.e. little cover on the left side of the dash between the dash and driver's door and discovered a strange device (see attached). It's about 1"x1"x5", wrapped in abrasion tape, and has 2 wires coming out of it. My curiosity is getting the better of me. I searched on epc.tesla.com but can't find it.
