Connecticut Car tax

I’m interested in getting a model 3 or model Y ,
But I was wondering if anyone from Connecticut knew how much they have to pay in car taxes for owning a Tesla? .... And do you get tax credit at the end of the year for driving a electric car.

You pay the same sales tax as you do on any other purchase.

But what I meant was in Connecticut every year you have to pay a ( Motor Vehicle Tax Bill ) , when I lived in NY the state doesn’t have that , now that I live in CT the newer the car the more you have to pay every year in taxes , I’m paying for a Honda Accord every year about $200 , for a Nissan Murano 2017 I pay Every year $500 in taxes.
