Looks pretty cool! Something like this would make cleaning the space a lot easier, as a lot of these inserts can be difficult to clean if you spill something in them.
I think that my main issue with a lot of these inserts is that they are all really underwhelming. I don't mean that as offense, btw. I would love if somebody designed a tray that was covered with nice leather or bamboo or something cool.
Either way, I think your tray suits a great purpose!
