Somebody forgot to exit diagnostic mode, did you had at service center right before ?

I wonder what "in service" button does

The 'In Service' button marks the car is being in service. If your car is in service, then you cannot do anything to the car. The negative for tesla though is that if the car is in service, it cannot be driven over 15 MPH.
