does referral based 6 month free supercharging stack with 1000 miles one?

Currently my M3 still has a few months left of the 6 month free supercharging I got from using a referral.
But I plan on referring someone soon so that means I will also be getting 1000 miles free supercharging under the current referral program.

So how does that work, do they let the 6 month one run out first, then start using up the 1000 miles one?
or reverse? or do they cancel the 6 month one and start the 1000 miles one immediately?

Wondering if anyone else is in similar situation...

Certainly one would expect it would save the 1000 miles until the expiration of the free supercharging period. Keep us posted
