I just wanted to know if a Powerwall purchase counts towards Teslas referral program. Was looking to see if I could give some credit to someone who referred me. This seems to be unclear on the website. If anyone knows let me know!

Don't waste your time trying to get a referral credit - Tesla doesn't honor them.
I won't go into the long details, but we were snubbed on a Model X and Model 3 referral over the course of 2 years or so (in the latter case Tesla gave the buyer the free supercharging, but refused to give us a credit).

No but Tesla Car owners can refer someone to solar with their referral code and after installation of the system both will get $250. Info is in your Tesla App Loot box. I referred my husband for the solar so we’ll get $500 between the two of us. Nice.
As probably same as with the vehicle referrals, the referral code should be given at time of solar order to qualify.
No idea when this Solar rewards will expire.
