Yes and Yes. Got transferred to a general help desk and spoke with a rep. He had no answer..but would reach out to them to ask.. waiting to hear back from them.
They will sell to anyone over 18 y/o who is not black listed and has the cash or finance.
If you live within 50 miles of the store / service center they will deliver the vehicle if you chose that option.
If you take delivery at the store, sales tax is Missouri unless the receipt or bill of sale shows your Kansas address.
If they deliver it to you in Kansas or their receipt / bill of sale shows a Kansas address, then the sales tax is Kansas.
(I had a store for years, 250 feet on the Kansas side. The states fight over the sales tax with the store and customer caught in the middle and their goofy laws are that it is based on where the merchandise is sold, picked up or delivered - unless the customer's address appears anywhere on the receipt then that overrides everything else and the sales tax is for the state in that address, even if in the same or any other place in the receipt, the receipt says that the merchandise was delivered to the other state.)
legendsk Thanks so much.I figured it had to be the case. I have to pay state Tax for Kansas and city tax to Leawood. So I'm going to be close to 10 percent.
Thanks for the clarification.
