Driving in the rain... interior door panels...

So, it's been raining here in the Bay Area. Is it normal, for the interior door panel to get dirt/mud/water from driving in the rain?

Seems like you would have to not only clean the external but open the doors and wipe/clean the door panel as well as it appears the water from driving gets through the door panels?

Haha got it. Thanks. Just wanted to make sure it just wasn't my car as I swear I don't think I've seen it in my previous cars....or maybe I just never paid attention.
