Will heavey dust have a effect on semi's electrical system? I run 180 miles down to the port where extream dust is often present with high winds.

I haul oilfield equipment from Broussard La to Port fourchon for chevron, shell, BP, etc. It would be awesome using a electric semi to haul oified equipment showing people the oil industry supports clean technology and is not aginst it.

I’m sure it’s IP67 rated. You’d be fine.

Im not sure the durability for the oilfield use is there with Teslas design. Maybe it is designed with that in mind but it looks like a OTR truck to me.

Brands that make vocational trucks and test them to those specs make EV trucks too. Just something to consider.
