If it gives Tesla an incentive to move Model 3 production for Europe to Berlin then that's probably a good thing, and is why they built the facility in the first place. A blip in costs for maybe a couple of years while the facility is built.
I am a bit surprised by how rigid Teslas manufacturing lines are, I did the tour of the Mini plant in Oxford and they were running LHD, RHD, Petrol, Electric, different body styles etc down the same assembly line. Every car was different. I think a new car rolled off the end every 45 seconds. For anyone in the area it is a fascinating tour.
