Europros vs Criswell Collision

Looks like I posted this in the wrong forum earlier and I am sorry for cross posting across forums. I hate it when others do it - so, I can imagine.

I am leaning towards Criswell based on my experience. Any strong objections?

I posted on the forum earlier about a damage to the right rear door on my brand new Model S (less than a month old). Long story but it is at the MGM casino garage and it was my mistake. But I swear other drivers had a problem with that turn.

Here is the damage -

Anyway, I took it to both Europros and Criswell (Annapolis) for estimate.

1. Europros weren't responsive originally but made it seem like its a big deal. They quoted $4300 and felt that they will try to replace the quarter panel and that could cost another $2000 if we go through insurance (total $6-7K). They said the total job takes 3 weeks - seems pretty high and I felt a bit cheated and "taken advantage of" - just their body language and tone/response.
2. Criswell - Kevin was very friendly and very understanding. Gave a total of $3,300 and said another few hundred dollars if the quarter panel needs to be worked on. Total estimated duration of work is 1.5 weeks and he asked me to bring the car in on 2/6.
3. I am planning to go through insurance and the Allstate guy's perspective was very different - he thinks the total work can be repaired without replacing the door and estimated the cost to be $1600. But said they would honor the estimate by any body shop of my choice.

Here is the question - any experience working wiht Europris vs Criswell? I felt like Europros are going to replace everything and would cause unnecessary replacement. The guy from Europros who was very responsive originally now doesn't want to reach me on the phone!

Any thoughts? Thank you.

I know Kevin from Criswell and own an Insurance agency next door to Criswell. We have sent clients (since they opened) there and they are a preferred shop for the main insurance company we represent, HOWEVER, there service can be hit or miss. I think they can get busy at times and miss on some details. My experience with Kevin has always been very good so if you have a problem definitely contact him right away.

Thank you - to be honest, he is one of the reasons I am leaning towards them over Europros. He was very pleasant when I went there and took the time to explain the work to be in detail and was in general reassuring - just his body language and personality I guess. I didn't feel that way at Europros. Thanks anyway - and, I will keep your feedback in mind. If I see anything odd, I will contact him right away.
