My Model S is nearing 80000 kms and it is less than 2 years old. The standard warranty from Tesla is now exhausted Now I need to decide if I should go in for the extended warranty.
The extended warranty insurance covers owners for electrical or mechanical parts when repair or replacement is necessary due to a defect of a component that is not caused by normal wear or negligence. Has anyone taken this one and is this really required. Any feedback / suggestions appreciated.
