Failed to change backup reserve

Since yesterday, I am not able to change my backup reserve percentage using the Tesla app. I got this error after I made the change and then reverted back to the original value.

My PW/Gateway is on 1.20.0 and the app version is 3.4.2. I can still connect to the local Web UI.

I also notice that I started having the time based control in my app since yesterday, although I am not using it.

Anyone having the same issue?

I called Tesla Support and was told that they have received a lot of reports regarding this problem today. Hopefully, they will fix it soon.

Same here. And very disappointed that the Time-Based Control still won't let me charge from the grid.

The problem seems to be fixed now. I can change my backup reserve.

Do you have solar? If so, it doesn't seem like this is a bug. It appears to be intentional by Tesla to make sure the Powerwall is eligible for the tax credit.

Same here. We aren't getting ITC or SGIP for our Powerwalls. I did notice via the gateway today that it showed power going from the grid to the Powerwalls every once in a while but the majority of the power going into the batteries was from the solar panels.

If we aren't getting the ITC or SGIP, it seems it would be fair to allow us to charge the batteries from the grid, if necessary, due to an impending storm.
