I cannot believe it stuck the landing! If the roll from the waves had been a second earlier or later, this thing would have crashed on the deck or in the drink and made the blooper reel.

I think you are using that gymnastic term incorrectly. If a gymnast were to land that far off vertical at the end of a routine they would lose points.

That booster save was a combination of factors. Whether it stuck, skipped, slipped or slid, that was one lucky dog landing!
