Hey @thecloud, glad to see you made it through unscathed. Those kind of accidents are so dangerous. We have all seen them at one time or another. Luck is a good thing. (along with TACC!)

Wonder if he had AutoPilot on. Still probably hard to avoid an accident when the guys in front and behind you are not paying attention. Poor horse, hope it didn't suffer.

Autopilot was not active, I cancelled it as I went up the grapevine and visibility started dropping. Autopilot is fair weather use only. I have been using autopilots for year in airplanes and hand fly other than at cruise on long trips. At least one horse died and one was injured, the third horse was unhurt. The baby that was in the tow vehicle died, as it was being breast fed when the accident happened.
