First hot weather with Model 3, what’s that smell?

Took possession of my model 3 in November. On Easter we actually had nice sunny weather (about 70*) and my car had a very strong rubbery, burning, chemical smell inside while on our short drive and also trip back. My hubby wonders if it was my Tesla floor mats. The smell is gone now that our weather is crappy again. Anyone else experience this? Ideas? It was also strong in the trunk which also has a Tesla rubber mat.

I had the same problem with mats I got from EBay, had to put them outside for a few hot days and wash them with dish soap. I will take mine out for summer months as I only got them for winter protection.
