Fog lights front on a new 2024 Tesla Y RWD

Hi, I'm from Belgium. I have my new Tesla Y RWD since a couple of weeks and in 1 word, fantastic.
I just have a question. I have a fog light at the back of the car and I can activate/deactivate this from the screen.
In front I don't have fog lights. There's black plastic covering this now but it looks like I can move it a bit so my question is can you put fog lights in there ?

Technically, you can install fog lights there, access should be quite easy through the wheel well, cables are there, just plug and play. The problem is the software, your car won’t recognize the fog lights and give you a switch. Tesla would need to change the configuration of the car, otherwise you can’t switch them on, bit they will not.

long story short: foglights are not retrofitable.

But: you could probably hard wire them with a switch in the cabin, since the front fogs are not connected to the CAN, they just have 3 pins (ground / lead fog / lead signature lights)
