I have 2 of these. One is Silver and one is Signature Black. Both are brand New in the box.

Is your silver one a 8.5' cable length by chance?

Neither are. I was concerned that the 24' long cable be so much cable laying around for my own wall connect. It is not. I literally park next to mine in the garage and use probably less than 4'. The whole connector has a perfect set up to wrap the cable around it without being ugly or bulky and you can use whatever length of the table you need. But a couple of times that I needed to use the length, it was very handy to have the longer cable option. You might think I am trying to sell you mine, but I am glad I got longer cable for my own house. If you are local you are welcome to come look at my installed wall connector and decide for yourself.
