Front door open/close motor disconnected from body

The passenger side open/close motor has become disconnected from a ball mount at the door hinge on the body. It appears that a plastic part between the motor arm cup and the ball on the body that holds the two together has disintegrated.

Anyone else have this happen? I’ve got a service appointment next week for this, but I’m wondering if the plastic part has been updated, in which case I’d want to have the driver door part replaced at the same time to avoid another service trip.
