Front license plate

I’m getting my 3 next week and don’t like the stock plate mount. In England you take your number to any hardware store and they make a plate for you. A friend who has a sign shop said he could make a decal of my plate for $30. I will post a picture when I get it. Jurisdictions are looking to make money so a “ no plate ticket “ is easy and a probable cause stop.
