Adhesive License Plate on PPF

Planning to get the MY front PPFd.
Should I get the front license plate stuck direct on the PPF, or should I get one of those plate holders that are clamped on the front grill?

I am in the same situation, That front license plate mount is no bueno. It should be sleek!
Car was PPF'd 3 days ago, what did you do ?

I used adhesive backed Velcro strips to adhere the front license plate holder to the PPF. Installed 5+ years ago, without problems.

I have a model 3, but in case you are wondering, the OEM plate holder adhesive sticks fine on PPF. Just make sure to follow all the recommendations for VHB tape (surface clean of contaminants, both adhesive and surface being warm enough, applying enough pressure to the bond, allowing enough cure time before any stress on the bond).
