I'm fairly certain within a few years she's going to be a subscription that goes with you from car to car. Increasing the price on technology which has already "promised" a lot to date and is "stuck" with the car you buy it for (even though it is just a license to use software), starts to enter the madness territory very quickly. There is not a lot of logic in spending $10K for vapourware when the car's standard autopilot on motorways suits 80% of driving cases.

If you've got $ burning a hole in your pocket, buy Tesla stock.. it'll be a way better investment that transcends the vehicle's useful life.

The only upgrade I'm keen on is MCU 2.0.

In Canada, where I have EAP (and FSD just gets me respond to traffic lights and driving on city streets), FSD went up from CDN$4,000 to $6,700!

Agreed hopefully FSD will be able to follow car to car in the future
it's just to expensive now and to much to lose if something happens to your car

Stock is a much better investment, shares are heading for $1135.00 as I'm typing this

In NZ with FSD we have NoA, automatic lane change, auto parking, smart summon, and recently Traffic Light and Stop Sign Control now $11,400 NZD
