FWD seals, is this how they are? I get a ton of water in the car when it rains when I open the door

Here I are some pics of my top seal, the one that goes from the front to the back goes under the rear seal. Is this normal? Or should it be infont?

The gap is so tight on the top, so water doesn’t go in between.

I have noticed when we wash the car and then open the FWD to wipe down, a lot of water pours out, into and outside the car. I'll take a pictue of our 2022 MX seals tomorrow when its daylight. Right now my driver side FWD won't open but passenger side does. That's how I found your question.

Do you have the same thing when it rains? If no, I’d recommend using a leaf blower to blow the excess water off the top of the car before opening.
