The D mode programming doesn't require a remote and pairs the car directly to the opener. It is usually a better way to program the car. Also, delete the currently used Homelink profile and always create a new one. Don't try to reuse an old profile.
D-Mode or UR-Mode: Use D-Mode or URMode
if the RF device does not have a
remote, and the receiver has a "Learn"
button (may also be called "Program" or
"Smart"). D-Mode and UR-Mode function
similarly because the vehicle directly
communicates with the device's receiver,
so you don't have to pair a remote.
