General Altimax RT43 --> RT45

Just wanted to post a long term update on the General Altimax RT43 tires on 18" Aero wheels. Tires have a UTQG of 700 and a mileage warranty of 70,000.

These are long lasting tires on a car famous for going through tires quickly. It's not difficult for me to believe these tires when properly rotated would be good for 70,000 miles on a Model 3. I live in a hilly area where it isn't unusual for me to get about 1/2 the tire warranty mileage per tire set. For instance the stock MXM4 tires were only good for 26k miles here. The Altimax RT43 set I just had changed out was over 60k miles and the only negative thing I have to say is that they were a little louder as they got older. Good in rain and moderate snow, decent handling etc.

I've just replaced with the RT45's which are the updated tire with same treadwear warranty, so we'll see how the next 70k miles goes.
