My 2013 Model S has over 216,000 miles on it and I have tried a 'few' tires.
The best I have found (and are the ONLY ones I buy now), are the Continental Pure Contact LS 102V tires. The last set I had on Tessie lasted 64,000 miles and had not worn to the wear bars yet. I replaced them because I was about to do a long road trip in wet/snowy conditions.
Got a wear credit on them as well.
Got mine at Americas Tire / Discount Tire (same company).
They handle beautifully on the windy roads around here, are dead quiet and have the smoothest ride. They have an 70,000-mile wear warrantee and free road hazard. They are the best I have ever bought, and I highly recommend them.
As for the Michelin OEM tires, the most I could get on a set was 21,000 miles and they were noisy.
