Had a USB song restart where I left off today

First time ever. Left a song half way done when I parked for work, came out at lunch and it restarted exactly where it left off about 10 or 15 seconds after I got going. FWIW I'm on 48.12.

It didn't not restart again after I parked, got lunch and returned 5 minutes later

Anyone know any tricks to get USB music start back up?

It seems to work about once out of every ten restarts for me. Although to be honest I don't really try it that often (although I did when I first got the car). I gave up on it until I hear that something has actually been fixed in a firmware update. There are no tricks to get it to work reliably. This is an acknowledged bug that tesla is supposedly going to fix, although no one knows when. File a bug report, and/or use the Ask A Question form on your account page to file a complaint about it.
