Help needed: lectron adapter is not working on I4

Just got a Lectron 48a adapter. Hooked it up to the Tesla wall charger and the car and the charger is blinking red. According to the Lectron manual I had to immediately disconnect. I saw quite a few people posted here they had no problems using the adapter. What should I change to make it work besides selling I4 ? Thanks in advance
