I came about 3 inches from running over a copper head today. I realize a lot more people die from bees than snakes but made me think about what one should do if they are bitten. I was in a pretty remote spot but probably would have:
1. Called 911 if I have reception
2. Take Benedryll (does that help with snake bites)
3. Pedal my butt back to my car and blow my safety whistle to try to get attention if any one is around
Anything else that one should do?
