If I recall from the past, when Tesla was shipping Model 3 & Y's from Shanghai, they had a different (slightly smaller) long-range battery. I think its a CATL vs Panasonic , and it had 2-3kw less energy capacity.

Does anyone have the specs on this and confirmations? The Website still shows the same range as before the new Model 3

Yes. This info is correct in regards to them shipping from china. Not sure on the rest. I have a new M3 coming that’s a long range. The range is the same. I think it’s only the standard range M3 that gets the other battery type.
