How long should the car be unused to justify turning it off?

I will be out of town for a week. Should I leave the car in the garage plugged in or should I turn it off?

What do you mean by turning it off? It turns off any time you park and leave the car.

But yes, if you are out of town, leave it plugged in and lower the charge limit to 50%.

There have been a couple of occasions where I have had the MX100 sitting in the garage for 3 weeks without charging it. I had about 80% charge on it when that period started and when I was finally able to drive it 3 weeks later, it still had 70%.

Didn’t know you can turn off the car completely. You plan to disconnect and remove your batteries? Lol

Car will turn itself off when you close the door and walk away.
It will later go into a deeper sleep to reduce vampire battery drain.
Resist the urge to keep checking on it through your app, as that will again wait it up from the deep sleep and the drain will again increase.

If you leave it plugged in, it will refresh itself every few days.
