How to convince FL DMV to design EV license plates

Anyone know if this is possible? I know other states have EV license plates, how can we get Florida to offer one?

I was just asking the same question. I recently was in Massachusetts and saw their new EV plates. They are not ostentatious but clearly identify the cars as electric. That would make it so much easier for police to identify the EV stays in an emergency, posers using EV parking/charging spots, HOV lane use, etc. plus, if I didn’t mention it already- they look sharp.

but it should really be a classification like Trailer or Motorcycle etc
