Seems like warranty will take care of a motor failure issue for a long time. There are plenty of threads about charging habits to lessen battery degradation over time. Here is what I’ve learned: Seems the recommendation is to charge daily to the under 60% range, boost the charge to a higher number when it will be used right away. Set your home charger to a lower amperage rating, 32 amps will get the car charged, so no need to use 40 or 48 amps. Supercharge only when necessary. Try to maintain the battery between 20% and 60% daily and 20-80% on trips. Don’t worry if the range isn’t exactly the EPA rated range.
