How to video for importing track mode telemetry and overlaying it

Some people had sent me messages asking how to import and overlay the data on to video from Track mode recordings so I made a how to video. Hope this helps

@GrisLightning Thank you so much for this video its really helpful!! I am having a problem importing the .MP4 file. I am able to select it as the video file and import with the telemetry csv as the data file without errors. But, when the interface shows up with the imported video the screen is just black like there is no video. I have verified the video is okay opening in VLC separately. Have you seen this before? Any recommendations? I am on a Mac as well just FYI.

Use vlc media player to convert/save in the same format. (h264/mp4). For soem reason the raw tesla video does not work in race render.

@GrisLightning Thanks tried that now. I saved it as the file type you mentioned but the extension ended up being .m4v and racerender didnt like that. I selected the format you mentioned. Not sure what is wrong. Picture attached of conversion page

I'm using a pc so it may be why that defaults to m4v. Go to customize and see if you have a different mp4 option. Otherwise try avi if that's available

Was able to create a video of my best lap from a track day on Monday!!
