Impressive Auto Trunk Open/Close Solution

Stumbled on this YouTube video yesterday of a very impressive auto-trunk solution for the Model 3. The execution seems good - opens and closes using the app and opens from the infotainment screen, and has a kick sensor under the bumper.

Curious as to the forums experience and thoughts with this kind of trunk solution?

I am also interested in this but have heard some negative feedback from others stating that the solution could cause the trunk to bend due to the extra pressure needed.
I would be interested in hearing if anyone has had any experience.
