Obviously it could go lower if the car is a mess, but I assume that’d be about right.

Also open to a very clean mid range (white on white, AP/FSD), but the price would need to be right.

Curious in what situations would an RWD be preferred over an AWD (apart from the lower pricing)?

More range and relatively temperate climate.

We’ve had a rwd S for years and it’s been great, even when the climate didn’t always cooperate. They’ve done a great job with traction control and nanny bot operations.

Secondarily, it should also be less expensive.

AWD has better performance and resale value but RWD has better range.

AWD also offers a bit of redundancy. If one drive unit craps out, you may be able to limp away than get stranded.

Is there and AWD vs RWD thread? I always hear "performance" but this car is plenty fast enough for me. Is steering / feel different? And I know AWD gets less range on a charge. (Sorry don't want to hijack)
