Intermintent rain like sounds coming from dash?

I don’t know how else to desribe it... it sounds like pitter patter light rain drops. I don’t remember hearing this before.

I had similar sounds coming from mine. At one point, it was much worse than that, and I took it to the SC. They said a “piece of tape” was flapping against the fan. It was fixed. Now I have a similar sound to yours that is intermittent. When I made my last SC visit, I told them about it, but, of course, it was not making the noise when I was there, so I still hear it about half the time.

I have the exact same issue. Very intermittent, usually when cold. Would love to hear if anyone learns anything definitive

I know I am late to this party but this is the first post I've found that perfectly describes an issue I am having with my newly purchased 2014 Model S.

Was there any resolution to this? I am extremely curious to know what is causing this sound!
