How are the standard '04 MYP tires in rain and cold?

I'm not yet even sure which tires come on this model, but I've had a lot of experience with pure performance tires and I know that they can be tricky when the temperature drops, when it rains, and especially when both occur. The Pirellis I had on a previous car lost much of their grip when temps dropped below ~40 degrees.

How are the standard MYP tires in challenging weather?

Pirellis shouldn't be used below 40F, if that's what your MYP comes equipped with. They're strictly a summer tire. If it's got the Michelins, they're safe to use in nearly any weather.

Michelins on my 2023. Works well in rain/cold.

Pirelli Corsas are the tires I was referring to from a previous car. Amazing when it's warm -- quite awful when the temperature dips. I have no idea which tire will be on the new sled.

If you're in LA there's a good chance it will be the Pirellis.
