I've tried searching and found many threads on cinch motors but none that quite match my symptoms. Please feel free to point me at an existing thread if I have missed one.
My cinch motor works intermittently. I have no error messages, and the boot/trunk opens and closes as you'd expect, however the motor itself only operatates approximately 50% of the time. I have tried replacing the motor and this has made no difference. I'm not sure how concerned I should be, I just don't want it to do any damage and don't want the boot/trunk opening at speed!
Any pointers or ideas? Thanks in advance, Phil
